Family

I am not very good at taking pictures when there are major holidays (such as Thanksgiving), but I did manage to snap a few a couple days before when my entire family (minus my little brother) got together. My sister was in town from AZ.

My Inspired Project

So I know I said I was going to paint my mirror first, but I got side tracked.  Here is the before, during and after photos of my new office chair!  total cost, about $25.  ($20 DI chair plus the cost of paint).  I am calling this my Cowboy Chair.

First thing I am going to copy cat is this bad boy...although my mirror is totally different, the technique and color is perfect! Stay tuned, I will post before and after pics.

Eye Candy

Watch out world...pretty soon my adorable baby boy will be sporting some of these.

Turns out his eye dialation thing is fairly common, both eyes don't dialate the same because they are trying to compensate for not being able to see very well (see post below for pic). Turns out he is extremely far-sighted.   Basically he can't see things up close as well. 

Far-sightedness runs on my side of the family and poor Shay got the luck of the draw in our family I suppose.  He should be in glasses within a couple of months, so make sure to tell me how adorable he looks. :)

Worried

Check out this picture of Shay...look at his eyes.  Chris and I noticed this right before we left for Disneyland.  It doesn't happen all the time, but pretty often.  He has an appointment with the pediatric opthamolagist right after Halloween.  Both my other kids have perfect eyes, maybe poor Shay has inherited the Honeycutt eyes...I will post more when I know more, but I hope it is nothing serious.
